- There is no warranty for the accuracy of the
information provided by the dbgrads system. All information is
supplied by the users and is not verified. However, if you come
accross a user entry with misleading or inappropriate information,
please contact the webmaster, Rachel Pottinger, at
sigmod@cs.pitt.edu.
- The dbgrads system is intended to be used by:
- employers,
who wish to locate students or recent graduates with
specialization in databases, and,
- students with a background
in databases, who are
either looking for an internship or will be graduating soon
and wish to be contacted by employers.
- This system should NOT be used by automated scripts, crawlers, robots,
etc.
- Privacy:
- We respect your privacy. No logging other than the default
web server logging (IP address, timestamp, filename, etc) is
performed.
- If you are not a student, your email address will not be
given to any third party and will not be used for anything
other than the registration process.
- If you are a student listed in the dbgrads database, you should
expect emails from prospective employers and from the system when
you add/update your entry in the database. If for some reason,
you receive other types of emails please let us know immediately.
