The dbgrads system is a free service to the database community by ACM
SIGMOD. The idea of
putting together such a list came up during a meeting at the SIGMOD'99
conference.
The design and the implementation of the dbgrads system was done by Alexandros
Labrinidis, then from the
University of Maryland, College Park, now an assistant professor
at the University of
Pittsburgh. It is currently maintained by Rachel Pottinger and hosted by University of
Pittsburgh
